# Jumblet journey artwork

September 18 standalone rebrand: `jumblet-home.svg` is original editable SVG.
Its first seven tiles now spell JUM/BLE/T; the four selected decorative tiles
retain WORD. This changes only brand artwork, not a playable board or content.

Created September 17, 2026 for JB-JOURNEY-02 with the built-in OpenAI imagegen
tool, using original text descriptions and no uploaded or third-party source
images. These are generated PNG raster illustrations, not editable vectors.
No external asset, font, stock-art license or subscription was added. Use is
subject to the generating account's applicable OpenAI terms; no separate
third-party license or exclusivity is asserted. SVG medal shapes are original
project code in `badge-artwork.tsx` (shared by all badge displays).

## Final prompt briefs

- **first-ascent.png**, 1536 × 1024: Production background for Jumblet's
First Ascent campaign. A sandstone mountain stairway winds through lush alpine
emerald and sage ridges toward an apricot sunrise. Abstract carved glyphs
appear in rocks. Premium painterly adventure illustration, coral and antique
  gold highlights. Quiet dark teal negative space on the left for menu labels;
detailed summit on the right. No text, logos, characters or interface elements.
- **midnight-library.png**, 1536 × 1024: Original painterly illustration for a
future Jumblet campaign tile. Mountaintop observatory library with open
arches, stars, bookshelves, spiral stairs, amber lamps and brass celestial
  instruments. Indigo night sky and quiet dark negative space on the left;
richly detailed warm library on the right. No text, people, logos or UI.

First Ascent is reused through CSS crops for the home menu, campaign/level rows,
board surface and Beyond the Clouds placeholder. The Midnight Library is an
unavailable future campaign preview; neither preview creates playable content.

## Ascent crest badge family

September 17, 2026: `src/games/jumblet/ui/badge-artwork.tsx` replaces the two
inconsistent medal drawings with one original inline SVG component, shared by
Wordcraft and Time across progress, campaign/archive/daily lists and results.
Each tier adds geometry: Bronze shield, Silver side ridges, Gold lower rays,
Platinum crystal spires, Grandmaster crown and lower crest. Wordcraft always uses
W; Time uses a clock. The frame, palette and ornaments are identical for each
rank regardless of discipline. SVG paths and gradients scale without a raster
resolution limit; there are no external fonts, textures or image dependencies.

The supplied game-rank screenshots informed the general idea of increasingly
elaborate silhouettes only. No logo, traced shape or third-party asset is used.
The new artwork is original project source, with no separate third-party license
or attribution requirement introduced.

## Manuscript seal refinement (same day)

The owner subsequently chose the old-library/manuscript direction. The final
shared component replaces the initial angular crests with engraved bookplates,
parchment/leather faces, botanical laurels, rolled scrolls, quill flourishes and
illuminated filigree. The serif W and rank captions use installed system fonts:
Palatino Linotype, Book Antiqua and Georgia/serif fallbacks. No font is bundled,
downloaded or redistributed; glyph appearance can vary with installed fonts.
The Time seal uses an original vector watch dial. All frame and decorative SVG
paths remain original project code and scale at any resolution.

## Word reward presentation

The revised word reward uses DOM tiles matching the selected board tiles' actual
font, colors, values and markings, centered inside the board. The owner removed
the earlier lifted serif glyphs, orbit and page dimming. Original Three.js
instanced parchment/gold particles still burst into the score flight. No font,
third-party artwork or texture is downloaded or redistributed. The existing
pinned Three package is reused under the owner's explicit animation request.

## Approved J-path identity — September 22, 2026

The owner selected option 4: touching powder-blue, cream and lavender tiles with
a coral curved J path on dark teal. `brand-mark.svg` is the editable canonical
geometry, recreated from the approved design concept
`exec-cf7668ad-7807-4dff-8a16-6dcc77f652c8`. All three path nodes sit exactly at
tile centers (750,250; 750,750; 250,750 in the 1000-unit board). The upper-left
tile is unvisited. This is a brand symbol, not a new legal gameplay route or rule.

The shared online header and connecting shell use this source. After reviewing
the implemented homepage, the owner retained `jumblet-home.svg` as its decorative
letter-tile banner; the J mark is not enlarged into hero artwork. The launcher
icons use only the new J identity.

`scripts/jumblet/mobile-assets.mjs` derives iOS/Android launcher and launch assets,
web icons and store candidates with pinned sharp 0.35.4. Test/staging T/S marks
occupy the unvisited upper-left tile so they do not hide the J's nodes. The feature
graphic rasterizes Liberation Sans Bold from the pinned Linux tool image; no font
binary is bundled. `assets/store/manifest.json` records source/font/tool hashes,
output hashes and dimensions. No new content, dependency or gameplay is introduced.
Store derivative review/submission remains separate from approving the app identity.

## Crowned-tile logo (October 12, 2026)

`brand-mark.svg` is now the crowned-tile logo the owner picked from eight rounds
of options ("V4 bigger"): a cream letter tile wearing a jewelled golden Crown,
the game's top reward, over a sunset-orange ground with a soft gold glow. It
replaces the J-hook mark everywhere: the home header (`HomeLogo`), the loading
mark, the favicon (`icon.svg`), the Apple touch icon and every native, splash
and store image (`pnpm assets:mobile`). It is original hand-written SVG made for
this project: plain shapes and gradients, no text, fonts, filters, traced
artwork or third-party assets, and no separate license or attribution.

## Gem jewels on the Crown (October 16, 2026)

With the Climb Crown, the owner asked for the Crown's jewels to look like real
gemstones (Ash, 2026-10-16): on a Crown they are round faceted gems "the shape
of a dot", gleaming like a gem, and the gem cuts appear everywhere else. In
`brand-mark.svg` the Crown's cream peak pearls are now faceted round gems: an
emerald on the left peak, a ruby on the top peak and a sapphire on the right
peak, the band dots are a small emerald, ruby and sapphire, and the centre
stone is an amethyst, a fourth gem that marks the logo as the final, fully
jeweled Crown (Ash, 18:25 to 18:42 UTC). The in-app Crown keeps its peak and
band gems without a centre stone, since a week's Crown has three jewels. Each gem is drawn as plain polygons in five tones with
light from the upper left and a white four-point glint. The same drawing is
`GemShape` in `src/games/jumblet/ui/stars/gem-shape.tsx`, used by every gold
Crown in the app; away from a Crown, `Gem` draws the cuts (an emerald-cut
emerald, an oval sapphire, a pear ruby, tip up, each in a gold bezel).
Everything is original hand-written SVG, with no filters, fonts or third-party
artwork. `pnpm assets:mobile` regenerated the favicon, Apple touch icon,
native icons, splash and store icons from it.
